Nokia E71X

Nokia recently unveiled its latest handset called E71X that features advanced technology to support multimedia features especially designed for mobile users.

This smartphone features 2.4-inch QVGA screen display which has been designed to support up to 16 million colors, making this device ideal for full web browsing, video watching, image display, and other media functions.

Since Nokia has specifically made this handset for web-centric consumers, the E71X features
802.11b/g wireless LAN for fast Internet access that will allow users to maximize their work productivity. Other web-based capabilities are: Nokia PC Internet access (can serve as a data modem) and email management.

This handset also features 3.2-megapixel camera equipped with multiple image technologies including CMOS sensor, digital zoom, autofocus for clearer images, multiple image settings, different white balance modes, full screen viewfinder, and multiple color tones.

Another notable capability of the built-in camera is the video recording which has digital zoom and can support multiple formats including MP4, 3GP, and MPEG. Meanwhile, the camera can shoot 320 x 240 QVGA image at 22 fps and has multiple video technologies such as different scene modes and color tones settings.

This mobile phone also has a music player which can support MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, and WMA. Other features of this built-in music player are: Windows Media Player for synchronize music, voice aid, and podcasting support.

This handset also has voice and audio recording which has text-to-speech and hearing aid capability.

In terms of ergonomic design, the handset features QWERTY keyboard, NaviTMKey for accelerated scrolling, dedicated one-touch keys for easy access in messaging tools, calendar, home, and contacts, and automatic voice dialing.

For constant travelers, the handset also has GPS and navigation technology which can provide mapping details and road direction that will allow people to easily locate their destination. Meanwhile, this function may not be available in some areas depending on the network’s service.

Other features are USB 2.0 for fast digital transfer, 2.5 mm Nokia UHJ connector, Bluetooth Technology, multiple security features, microSD memory card slot (can support up to 8GB), and 130MB internal memory.
